Dawn, Bellingham Bay and Mt Baker

A low lying fog shrouds Bellingham Bay as a solitary Great Blue Heron feeds in the shallows of the Nooksack delta.  The river drains  three quarters of the Mt. Baker watershed as well as much of the area around Mt. Shuksan, Icy Peak and surrounding peaks and high alpine of the western  North Cascades.
